Welcome to the Design page! All of my design skills are self taught, beginning with understanding the anatomy of a sewing machine, learning on sewing strategies from pre-packed patterns, creating my own patterns, developing mood boards for creative direction behind a foreseeable collection, and altering pre-loved clothing to be refreshed and renewed again.
Sewing Projects:
Because of my interest in fashion, I decided to learn the fundamentals to making a garment through the use of sewing patterns. Through this process, I have learned how to construct a garment from start to finish. Working with a sewing machine requires patience and ambition, and I have learned so much through these instructions such as basting, darting, pressing, constructing button holes, applying zippers, and much more. I have used this knowledge to try my hand at creating my own patterns.
